My husband says the cabinets function fine. Oak has been around for
hundreds of years. Why do we need new cabinets?
We will explain to your husband that styles change and along with those
changes items that remain outdated will have less value. The real
question is “would you rather spend $20,000 on all new cabinetry or a
quarter of that and still have at least a $20,000 resale value.” Then we
send him on a week long fishing trip.

The thought of having to empty all my cupboards to get a new kitchen is
too overwhelming and I wouldn’t even know where to put all that stuff
while we are waiting!
The finishes can all be applied while all your items stay neatly put
away in your cabinets. (As long as we are not painting the inside of
your cabinets). We will only remove the doors for a proper finish.

I like how my kitchen is laid out and the cabinets are in good shape but
the door style is so ugly!
We can replace the doors and apply a wonderful new finish on them. The
existing cabinet face frames will stay in place, and get finished to
match the doors. Add some new hardware and you have a brand new gorgeous
kitchen!

Can you change those old ugly door hinges that show on all the cabinet
doors that make the kitchen look outdated?
Our finish carpenter can use your existing doors and mill out the back
of the doors for new European hinges that close quietly and slowly and
best of all – they are completely hidden when the doors are closed!

How long does it take to complete a finish?
An average size kitchen takes 7-10 working days from start to finish.
Much less than a total tear out and waiting weeks for new cabinetry to
arrive that still have to be finished!

Do these finishes need any kind of protection applied after all the
glazes are completed?
The glazes in this product line have a “built in” acrylic component that
actually binds with the base coat and creates a very hard and durable
finish so there is no need for costly top coats. Another way to save you
money!
